10 Excellent Shows That Premiered Elsewhere, Now Streaming On Netflix

Hey there, it's been a while since my last post! Whether you've missed me or not, I certainly miss blogging about movies and TV shows. Although I'm not back full-time just yet, I wanted to share something with you guys in case you've also been too busy to catch it. After all, who isn't busy these days? I'll keep this brief, so let's dive in.

Recently, I've noticed a pattern on my Netflix app where it suggests older shows for me to watch. Interestingly, these shows aren't even Netflix originals; they originally aired on other networks or platforms. It’s clear that Netflix is using this strategy to keep subscribers engaged, and to some extent, it’s working. Some of these shows premiered a long time ago and have since concluded, which is likely why Netflix can now add them to their library.

For example, I recently started rewatching The Walking Dead from season one. I was a big fan of the show and followed it until it ended. So why am I revisiting an old show? Mainly for nostalgia and also due to the current scarcity of good new shows. I’m sure I’m not the only one rewatching old series for these reasons. Without further ado, here are 10 shows that didn’t originally air on Netflix but are now available to stream on the platform. (This list is not in any particular rating order)

1. THE WALKING DEAD

2. DEXTER

3. HOUSE

4. THE 100

5. THE ROOKIE

6. THE BLACKLIST

7. VIKINGS

8. VAN HELSING

9. SUITS

10. LOST (COMING 2024)
